Sogetsu creates a line of iron vases unique to the Sogetsu school. These vases are only available in Japan. Joan Yusui Suzuki, Jane Suiei Naito and Eko Ryusui Ejoek created arrangements featuring these beautiful iron vases in their ArtScapes Demonstration.

Sahshah Kosen Middleton and Ron Kodo Brown led a fun and creative workshop for our Members "Creating Sogetsu Arrangements With Pool Noodles" which is a lesson from Book 5.
The arrangements by our Members were dynamic and whimsical. 
ArtScapes 2025 attracted record crowds. Enjoy these Arrangements inspired by Artwork. The ArtScapes Committee members personally chose artwork they loved and then created arrangements.

A "Taisaku" is a large scale, focal arrangement. It can be created for an exhibition, event or installation in public or private spaces. Master Instructor Misei Ishikawa designed this stunning Bamboo Taisaku arrangement for our Branch's 50th Anniversary celebration.
This video chronicles all the stages of our journey, beginning with the selection and cutting of the bamboo, then the meticulous planning and sketching of the design by Ishikawa Sensei, and the final assembly of our structure at the site by a large team.
