Want to join? We meet on a rotating basis in San Francisco, Alameda and San Mateo and welcome all new and returning students of Sogetsu Ikebana.
We welcome all levels of students of Sogetsu to our Branch. Our programming has included: a field trip to Cornerstone (art demonstration gardens in Sonoma); exciting workshops on using cardboard and non traditional materials, working with mizuhiki and furoshiki, an annual Japanese New Year's luncheon banquet, a workshop learning to manipulate bamboo, a workshop on Lotus leaves and weaving, Hankubari and more.
